SYNTECS | Final Review & Machine Demonstration
All good things come to an end! After 38 months of intense collaboration and innovation, the SYNTECS project has
officially crossed the finish line.
On 28th January the consortium gathered one last time at LASEA’s headquarters in Seraing, Belgium, for our Final
Project Review with the European Commission Project Officer. It was a proud moment to present the culmination of our
work: a fully integrated, digital, and sustainable laser texturing platform.
Get to know more about the highlights from the Final Review:
• Live Machine Demo: We showcased the final SYNTECS
hybrid machine in action, demonstrating the seamless integration
of DLIP, DLW, and LIPSS modules with real-time monitoring.
• Validated Results: Partners presented the final data from our
industrial use cases (Medical, Automotive, and Electronics), proving the efficacy
of our hierarchical textures.
A huge thank you to our Project Officer for the constructive feedback and
to all our partners for their dedication over the last three years.
We didn't just build a machine; we built a lasting network for advanced manufacturing
in Europe.
